Sirius Radio

Have you ever used Sirius radio? I have. It came with my car. I kept the account until this past November when it expired. I did not renew because I am not working, am living on Worker's Comp which as anyone knows is below the poverty level because the insurance companies really don't want to pay your paycheck, and simply cannot afford it at this time.
I wrote them and told them I was not renewing. I got daily phone calls from them. Pre-recorded calls telling me to call their 800 number. I told them to stop. I cannot renew. Low and behold in today's mail I get a letter from a collection agency wanting to collect $35.36 that I owe Sirius radio. Now I ask you, is this nuts or what?? Needless to say the collection agency is getting one heck of a letter back AND I have once again written to Sirius radio reminding them that my account expired in November and I did not renew it and notified them as such.
Be careful out there people. There are people at Sirius that want money when they don't have it coming!! I know these are hard times, but give me a break.

Aside from that, nothing has changed. I am still living below poverty on Worker's Comp trying to get a job and possibly facing more surgery on my arm and shoulder that the doc isn't even sure will fix my arm and shoulder. HA! With 11 people for every job opening here who do you think is even going to consider hiring me?? End result? I move out of my home and in with friends because I cannot afford to keep this place anymore. If you get hurt on the job I have one word of advice. Avoid Worker's Comp!! Use your own insurance. Get Aflac, get Combined Life, get any of those insurances and go through them to get better. Worker's Comp is cruel and takes away your dignity, your home, and anything else they can. Doesn't matter if you are unable to work. They say you are and will starve you out if you don't get a job.

On a good note, my daughter is moving back to the continent from Hawaii. I will finally get to see my new grandson :) I will see them all next Monday. I cannot wait!! I have not seen my daughter in three years. It is so exciting!!
